Entrance & Niches

Crossing the threshold of Cantina Bentivoglio means immersing yourself in a story made of details and refinement: the entrance, embellished with a collection of historic bottles and ancient wooden seats from a convent, opens onto two welcoming lateral niches, perfect for events of up to 40 guests. Next to it, the suggestive fireplace room, ideal for a cozy and intimate atmosphere, with a capacity of 30 people.

The little room

Opened in 1993, this elegant room with over 50 seats, separate and available on request also exclusively, is perfect for graduation parties, business meetings, presentations and private celebrations.

Characterized by ancient vaults and enriched by a collection of contemporary works of art of our property, this room also hosts an exhibition of wines in Magnum, for an experience that combines taste and aesthetics.

The music room

Since 1989, Cantina Bentivoglio has been synonymous with live jazz: in that year, the historic cellars of the sixteenth-century Palazzo Bentivoglio were opened to the public, creating a large space of approximately 200 square meters with a capacity of 150 seats.

Perfect for romantic dinners, with family or friends, the Music Room welcomes the public during concerts and, upon request, can be reserved exclusively for special events.

The Rossi Cellar

Renovated in 2017, the Red Wine Cellar is a place of timeless charm, accessible directly from the Music Room in the company of our sommelier, Yiannis Xanthakis.

The unmistakable aroma of wine, the warmth of wood, the brick vaults and the intimate lighting make this space perfect for a private tasting or a moment of exclusivity, by reservation only.

Summer in the Cellar

In the summer, live music leaves the Music Room to animate suggestive outdoor spaces, offering new food and wine and cultural experiences.

From June to September, closed on Sundays, the outdoor area on Via Mascarella welcomes up to 30 guests, alongside the seats under the historic porticoes that frame the entrance.

For over 25 editions, the upper Via Mascarella, closed to traffic, has been transformed into “Il Salotto del Jazz”, a real open-air lounge, where soft lights and refined notes accompany dinner and after dinner.

Over the years, Cantina Bentivoglio’s summers have provided unforgettable experiences, among the most recent:

• Round Midnight Jazz Club (2018-2019), in the courtyard of Palazzo Re Enzo, between signature cocktails and concerts under the stars.

• Bazza Food Truck (2020-2021) at the Giardini Margherita, an innovative project later sold.

• Barrio (2024) a new summer pop-up in DUMBO, where tradition meets a young and dynamic atmosphere
